ADAPT-Revit Structure 4 Link v1.20
October 2006: This new release is compatible with Autodesk® Revit® Structure 4. The integration link provides full bi-directional integration between Revit Structure and ADAPT-Builder. The ADAPT link uniquely transfers physical model data from Revit to ADAPT-Builder without the need to first create an analytical model in Revit. This saves time while increasing accuracy and reliability, allowing engineering firms early in their adoption of Revit Strcuture to take full advantage of their model information by designing their concrete slab and foundation systems in ADAPT without having to re-enter any data. Model data transferred is automatically meshed, analyzed and designed in the ADAPT-Builder suite of programs. Changes made in ADAPT-Builder can be automatically propagated back to the main project model in Revit.

Link transfers the following model information between Revit Structure and ADAPT-Builder:
  • Slabs
  • Beams
  • Columns
  • Walls
  • Openings
  • Footings
  • Point Loads
  • Line Loads
  • Patch Loads
  • Load Combinations
  • Load Cases
  • Material Properties

ADAPT-PT 7.20
June 2006: This new release features bi-directional integration with ADAPT-Floor Pro, our 3D Finite Element program, allowing you to transfer your optimized post-tensioning designs back into ADAPT-Floor Pro. Working together, ADAPT-PT and ADAPT-Floor Pro now offer the best of both worlds - quick and accurate optimization of your P/T design using the Equivalent Frame Method of analysis merged with the ability to handle the most complex layouts and geometries of entire floor systems using our advanced 3D FEM design platform. This new integrated design approach will also substantially increases the productivity and accuracy of our clients design teams.

The new streamlined ADAPT design process:
  • Import external model (Autodesk Revit, DWG/DXF, ETABS, or STAAD.Pro)
  • Model 3D slab system
  • Define support lines (program automatically generated design strips)
  • Export and design strips in ADAPT-PT
  • Import optimized post-tensioning designs back into ADAPT-Floor Pro
  • Automatically mesh your model
  • Analyze, design, and fine-tune your model using ADAPT-Floor Pro
  • Use Advanced Dynamic Rebar Design (DRD) Module to prepare final rebar layout
  • Export rebar and post-tensioning layout to DWG/DXF
In addition to the enhanced integration with ADAPT-Floor Pro, this release included corrected bugs and other minor improvements.

ADAPT-RC 4.50
May 2005: ADAPT-RC version 4.50 includes the latest design code options including ACI 318-2002/IBC 2003, ACI 318-1999, BS8110, and Canadian. In addition to minor feature enhancements and bug fixes, this version has also been reconfigured for Windows XP SP2 compatibility.

ADAPT-PT 7.10
May 2005: ADAPT-PT version 7.10 has been reconfigured for Windows XP SP2 compatibility. This version also includes minor feature enhancements and bug fixes from the last six months.

ADAPT-Builder Suite 1.50
February 2005: ADAPT-Builder Platform version 1.50 incorporates major advances to ADAPT's Automated Adaptive Meshing capabilities, integration with ETABS, and added reporting capabilities.

The advances in ADAPT's meshing technology further establish ADAPT-Floor Pro, ADAPT-MAT and ADAPT-SOG as the industry's most accurate 3D FEM floor system and foundation design programs. Unlike other software in the marketplace that revert to simplified elements to mesh complex structures, ADAPT's Automated Meshing only uses quadrilateral shell elements regardless of the complexity of the floor or foundation system.

New in version 1.50 is the option of directly importing ETABS solutions into ADAPT-Floor Pro and ADAPT-MAT, streamlining the time and effort needed to carry out lateral load cases on your floor and foundation systems.

In addition to other performance enhancing features and bug fixes, version 1.50 comes with a greater number of compiled report generation options.
