Design Consulting Overview

Since 1982, ADAPT has provided consulting services to public agencies and other consulting firms around the world. We are most often called upon to consult on the design of special structures, bridges, and buildings, where the project's complexity demands an in-depth understanding of the structural concepts involved, experience in similar projects, and access to the latest design tools. ADAPT frequently engages in joint project designs with consultants overseas as part of technology transfer programs. The scope of our consulting engagements range from the complete design of structures to the design of the post-tensioned members only.

The focus of ADAPT's work in building design is concrete structures, in particular, post-tensioned buildings, parking structures, ground supported slabs, and various floor systems. The scope of the work covers the gravity and seismic design of new structures and the retrofitting of existing buildings.
